Yes! When you pay admission, you receive a bracelet for the day. You can come and go as you please for the day as long as you do not remove your bracelet.
No. While most Aquatics Attendants have their NLS-Pool certification, some only have their Bronze Cross certification. All Aquatics Attendants have first aid training and training specific to the attraction they are working. Our internal in-service training program requires Aquatics staff to attend multiple training sessions throughout each season and many staff work towards their NLS-Waterpark certification offered here onsite each season. Additionally, there are staff with the Red Cross Medical First Responder certification onsite at all times when SplashZone is open.
Aquatics Attendants should not be relied on to watch your children. You know your children’s abilities/limitations better than anyone else and should keep your children, especially non-swimmers, in arm’s reach at all times. PFD’s are available free of charge and, at a minimum, should be worn by all non-swimmers.
Riders with prosthetics (or braces) may ride provided their device is designed for such an activity, they can maintain the proper riding position, and there are no exposed metal parts.
SplashZone is a general admission based park and pricing is based on all visitors paying the charge. This is traditional for this type of park as many of the activities within the park cannot restrict access to paying customers only. Please note that children under 36" tall do not pay the admission charge. If we were to move to a pay per ride basis, we would have to increase prices and increase staffing to restrict access to various attractions. We wish to avoid this and have selected the general admission approach to ensure the most enjoyable visitor experience for all of our guests.
FunZone has free admission to the grounds and only those riding the rides need to purchase a bracelet or credits.
