Fun zone Attractions
FunZone features classic amusement rides. Soar through the air on the Red Baron or SkyFlyer, experience some ups and downs on the Jumpin’ Star and Carousel or cruise along the rails of the Rio Grande. Climb through the Treehouse and don’t forget to join your friends on the Krazy Kars. For the more daring, we have carnival favourites like the Tilt-a-Whirl and Scrambler. And if you are really up for a thrill, strap yourself into the WaveSwinger!

Red Baron
Be the pilot of your own plane! Six planes each moving in a circular motion. Riders can control their plane moving up and down as the ride moves. Riders entering this ride must be able to exit quickly and unassisted, except when accompanied by an adult.

Carousel
Take a ride on a classic Carrousel ride. Riders can choose between stationary horses, benches or horses that move up and down as the ride moves in a circular motion. Riders entering this ride must be able to exit quickly and unassisted, except when accompanied by an adult.

Rio Grande
Riders can choose between four train compartments. Choose to be the conductor or in sit in the caboose as you move slowly around the track. The track is covered and theming is throughout. Riders entering this ride must be able to exit quickly and unassisted, except when accompanied by an adult.

JUMPIN' STAR
Riders will be seated with a lap bar securing them. The ride will climb slowly and descends gently with bounces. Riders entering this ride must be able to exit quickly and unassisted.

Tree House
Socks RequiredThe best play structure around! Climb, jump, slide, and crawl your way through the obstacles in this tall Treehouse structure. Socks are required and sold at the admissions building. Only one rider to slide at a time. Slide must be ridden feet first in a sitting position. Children must be supervised by a parent or an adult at all times from outside the attraction.
Please note the height requirement for this attraction as parents/guardians are not able to accompany their child on the attraction.

Sky Flyer
Riders will lay down on their stomach on a two seat gondola. The restraint goes over the back of the guest. The ride rotates in one direction, and the gondolas raise up into the air. As the gondolas reach the top, the “wave” motion begins for the ride. Riders entering this ride must be able to exit quickly and unassisted.

Tilt-a-Whirl
Up to 4 riders can be seated with a lap bar at their waist. The ride will start and the platform will begin to turn and the seats will rotate on individual platforms in a circular motion.
Riders should expect strong side to side forces, rapidly changing directions, and strong front to back forces.

Scrambler
Riders will be seated with a latched door securing them in. The ride starts to spin creating a strong centrifugal force on the guests moving in a star shaped pattern. This causes forces to be exerted on the guests in varying directions.

Krazy Cars
Bump into friends and family with single rider bumper cars. Located in a covered area, be sure to come check it out at night to experience the light package of each car. Riders control their own cars and must be able to operate both control levers (one on each side). Riders entering this ride must be able to exit quickly and unassisted.
Riders can experience strong sharp motions and jolts in all directions.

Wave Swinger
A fan favourite! Experience a wave like feeling as you coast through the air. You'll get great views of the park and overlooking parts of the city. Riders will sit in free hanging seats suspended by chains. Each chair is equipped with a lap bar and a between-the-legs safety belt secures each rider. The intent of the double seats is to allow an adult and child to ride together so that the adult can provide additional supervision – it is not permitted for two adults to ride together. No single riders – both seats must be in use. Riders can expect to move at high heights in a circular motion. Riders can expect to feel a “wave” motion as the chairs motion away from the center.

Blaster Boats
Riders can expect to bump into other boats from all angles, potentially unexpectedly, during the ride. Although the boat stays above water, guests should expect to get splashed with water from bumping into other boats, the built in squirters of each boat, or the water blasters stationed around the pool. Riders must be able to step down into the boat and step up out of the boat unassisted. Railings are present at each docking station to help riders enter and exit the boat. The depth of the Blaster Boat pool is approximately 34". PFDs are free of charge and available along the fence at the entrance of the attraction.

EARLY CLOSURE POLICY
Magic Mountain is typically open rain or shine; however, if extreme weather (i.e. lightning, high winds, extreme cold or tropical storm conditions) or any other issue (i.e. power outage, mechanical failure, or water quality problem) forces the entire park to suspend operation for more than 60 minutes, rain checks for the remainder of the day are issued and valid at any time throughout the remainder of the season. Rain checks must be requested prior to leaving the park. Rain checks must be requested within 30 minutes of the park resuming operations. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds. Please be aware that individual rides/attractions may close unexpectedly from time to time without compensation.
Reserve Your Tickets
Park attendance will continue to be managed in all our Zones. Customers must still reserve their date and purchase ahead online. If we are sold out online, tickets will not be sold at the gate. Please purchase ahead to avoid disappointment, especially if you are traveling a distance.
