Can I bring my pet into the park?

In order to protect our water quality and to ensure the comfort of all of our guests, pets (with the exception of service dogs) are not permitted within the park. We do have a limited number of unsupervised, shaded kennels available on a first come, first serve basis. A refundable deposit is required for a lock, key and water dish. Fresh water is available at the kennel site. All animals are the owner’s responsibility at all times and must be leashed while being brought to and from the kennel. For very small animals, it is recommended that you keep them in their crate or carrier inside the kennel.

Can I leave once I am in the park?

Yes! When you pay admission, you receive a bracelet for the day. You can come and go as you please for the day as long as you do not remove your bracelet.

Are swim diapers required?

Yes, swim diapers are required for all children in diapers. You are welcome to bring your own or purchase them on site. We sell swim diapers at our cost at all ticket booths and both gift shops. Please note: for public health reasons, we ask that you do not change your children on the pool deck. Diaper changing tables are available in all bathrooms and we also have family changing rooms located at the front entrance and the side of the first aid building. Please ensure that you make it a habit to take all children to the washroom before entering the pools and slides, even if they do not feel they need to go.

Is your park wheelchair accessible?

Yes, much of the general park and seating areas are wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately most attractions are not so a reduced rate is available. Accessible washrooms are located in the main entrance of the park, and at the side of the first aid building. Our Wave Pool, Children’s Area, and Splashpad have a 0 depth entry so they can often be enjoyed by all guests. If you have specific questions about access, please speak to our lifeguard supervisor upon arrival, or contact us in advance.

Are picnics allowed?

Certainly! Magic Mountain has many picnic tables and eating areas within the property. However, glass containers, alcohol, and drugs are prohibited anywhere on the property. If you wish to bring a cooler into the park, it must be ready for inspection by staff at the entrance

Is there an additional charge for parking?

Magic Mountain has a large, FREE, parking lot!

Is there an additional charge for tubes?

Tubes are required for the Lazy River and Tornado. Single tubes are available at the exit of each of these attractions and are included in your admission fee. Should you wish to use a double tube a rental fee applies.

Are lockers available?

Yes, there are two locker options available. Day use lockers may be used multiple times throughout the day while coin-operated pay per use lockers require payment each time you wish to re-lock the locker. Please note: Magic Mountain Ltd. is not responsible for the theft or loss of personal belongings even if they are in a locker. We recommend leaving all excess cash and valuables at home.

Pay Per Use Lockers - $2 per use.
Day Use Lockers - $10 Fee, $5 is refunded upon return of the key.
I am not going on anything, do I still have to pay the admission charge?

Magic Mountain is a general admission park and pricing is based on all visitors paying the charge. This is traditional for this type of park as many of the activities within the park cannot restrict access to paying customers only. Please note that children under 36" tall do not pay the admission charges and we have a reduced rate for seniors (ages 60+) and those with special needs. If we were to move to a pay per ride basis, we would have to increase prices and increase staffing to restrict access to various attractions. We wish to avoid this and have selected the general admission approach to ensure the most enjoyable visitor experience for all of our guests.

What rules are there concerning the dress code?

We recommend proper, family friendly swimming attire. Swimsuits with buckles, metal rivets, or zippers are not permitted.

Is the water heated?

Yes, all pools are heated.

Are water-wings and water toys allowed?

No, unfortunately water wings, water toys, pool noodles, floatie suits, etc. are not permitted for safety reasons. You are welcome to bring your own Department of Transportation or Canadian Coast Guard approved PFD, or use one of ours at no charge.

What forms of payment are accepted?

We are pleased to accept Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Debit and American Express at all areas in the park except for the Arcade, Tube Rental and Locker Rental areas which are cash only. An ATM is available at the main entrance for your convenience.

What is your weather policy?

Magic Mountain is open rain or shine. If extreme weather (i.e. lightning or tropical storm conditions) forces the park to suspend operation for more than 45 minutes, rain checks are issued and valid at anytime throughout the remainder of season. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds.

Can I smoke in the park?

Smoking is permitted only in a designated area outside of the park. Please ask staff for directions.

Can I bring my portable BBQ, camp stove, or Hibachi type grill?

No, unfortunately portable BBQ’s, camp stoves and Hibachi type grills are not permitted. Full size propane BBQ’s are available for rental depending on availability. Please reserve in advance.
